View destinationWhat to consider when choosing a country
Choosing a country starts with the school's goal. If you want an experience that supports English teaching, the UK, Ireland, Malta, the USA and Canada fit; if you teach German, Germany is the natural choice. Clarifying early whether the aim is language outcomes, cultural experience or a balance of the two makes program design easier.
Second is the age and size of the group. For younger groups short distances, close supervision and a calm setting come first; Malta, Ireland and campus-based UK programs are often considered for this. For larger groups, accommodation and classroom capacity become decisive.
Third is travel and time. Flights to European countries are relatively short and suit short trip programs. The USA and Canada involve a long flight and a large time difference, so they usually call for longer stays and earlier planning. Summer climate matters too: Malta is hot and sunny, the UK and Ireland mild and changeable.
Fourth is the document process. Turkish citizens generally need a visa or travel authorisation for all of these countries; requirements change over time, so official sources should be checked and the process started early. We guide your school through it.
Finally come your school calendar and budget expectations. Scope varies by country, city and accommodation type; exact details are set out in the offer prepared for your school.
